Go View TV for the PSP Launched In The UK

In a joint venture with Sky Digital, Sony have launched a video on demand service for the PSP console in the UK and Europe whereby users will be able to download content such as TV programmes and movies. Customers subscribing to the service will be able to access content from Disney, the BBC, Sony Pictures Television, National Geographic and Sky Sports to name but a few. TV shows already announced include big names like Lost, Desperate Housewives, Doctor Who and Top Gear.
Customers will be able to download their choice of programmes direct to their PSP via a Wi-Fi connection or, transfer downloads to their PC.
For subscribers, three main categories are available, Entertainment, Drama and Sports. The monthly rates start from £5 for one Go View pack, 2 packs at £8 and £10 for all three.
A free 1 month trial is available for newly registered Go View users.
